An Online Men's Retreat Our culture places a premium on finding that one thing in life which provides meaning, satisfaction or purpose. Religion often reinforces this singular quest. But our lives demonstrate something else: There’s more to us than just one thing. “I contain multitudes,” Whitman said. We are many selves. And the truth is we change across our lives. How then do we understand vocation? Who or what calls us amid the constant reality of change, both personal and societal, and how do we respond? The LAUMC Men’s Retreat, a virtual gathering over three days, will explore these questions with the facilitation of theologian and entrepreneur Daniel Pryfogle, who is cofounder of Sympara, a sacred/civic placemaking organization.
